1.    I do not have a toothache. Why would I do regularly checks?

Even if signs of dental disease are not always apparent to you as a patient, a specialist could determine, during a routine check, some problems, which left untreated could lead to unwanted complications. The most frequently example is that of caries that are not visible to the patient till they are large enough and you cant avoid fillings at that moment - in the best case. Diadent Clinic is determined to show the benefits of prevention over treatment.

2.    How often should I make a routine dental check?

The recommended period is 6 months, but for patients that have periodontitis, the control is necessary at an interval of 4 months.

3.    At what age should I begin to bring the child to the dentist?

Baby milk teeth (20 teeth) are complete, usually around the age of 2 and a half years. It is the most appropriate time to bring the child for the first dental check to create a healthy habit of regular dental checks.

C)The most common dental treatments

1.    What are the most common dental treatments?

Treatment of dental caries is one of the most common dental treatments. This should not be considered commonplace treatment, it must be approached with responsibility: an untreated cavity properly can cause disease that can lead, in extreme cases, even to tooth loss.

2.    I have a compromised tooth. Can you save him?

Diadent technologies allow reconstruction in just one session of a tooth that was destroyed at a rate of 85-90%. For comparison, conventional treatments percentage was approximately 45%. The approaches and treatment methods evolved over time, allowing recovery of tooth problems in many more cases.

D)Pregnancy and Children

1.    I am pregnant. Can I appeal for Dental treatment?

You must understand that pregnancy is not a disease but a normal physiological state. Although in the first and last trimester of pregnancy it is not preferable to interfere with dental treatment (especially on the scale), in the second trimester of pregnancy it is even recommended to drain the mouth and remove all infection outbreaks that later may damage both, her and the baby.

2.    Can I do a dental X-ray if I am pregnant?

Although our devices have a very low level radiation, as in the previous case, we do not recommend exposure of the mother and the fetus to radiation. For extreme cases, however, ask your gynecologist first, and then our specialists will provide the best method for your case.

3.    How do I convince my child to come to the dentist?

First, by personal example. Then, explain that Diadent dental treatments are not painful. Eventually attitude Diadent clinic staff will help in building the confidence of your child in dentist.

4.    Am I allowed in the room during the examination of my child?

This question is addressed frequently by mothers who bring their child for the first time in our clinic. In fact, our recommendation is to not go with the child in the room, except in special cases (very early age, deficiency ...), as the doctor-patient relationship is best built on trust and a feeling of intimacy.
